Youth for Peace & Resilience

This project aims to empower young people in South West State to become champions of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and resilience against violent extremism. Through training, dialogue forums, and youth-led peace campaigns, the initiative will strengthen youth leadership in promoting social cohesion, tolerance, and community stability.

Key Activities:

  • Peacebuilding & PCVE workshops for youth leaders

  • Community peace dialogues and reconciliation forums

  • Radio talk shows and social media campaigns on peace messages

  • Youth-led arts for peace (poetry, theater, music)

Target Beneficiaries:
Youth (18-35), community leaders, and local peace committees

Expected Outcomes:

  • Increased youth participation in peacebuilding

  • Reduced community tensions and improved conflict resolution capacity

  • Strengthened local resilience against extremist ideologies
